Carter Williams, 91, of South Pittsburg, Tenessee, died there on Jan. 15,
2013. Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Jan. 19 at South Pittsburg First Baptist Church, with the Revs. Brad Bridgman and Charlie Campbell officiating. Burial followed in Cumberland View Cemetery. Born in Paris, she was a daughter of the late William Charlie and Ruth Faust Carter, and the widow of Vaughn Williams. She was a graduate of Grove High School, Class
of 1939, and
Toler’s Business College. She retired as executive administration secretary
at TVA Widows Creek Steam Plant. |
