Virginia Ruth Alexander Turner ~ Obituary

Paris native Virginia Ruth Alexander Turner, 94, of Memphis,
died Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

Her funeral service was at 2 p.m. Saturday at Forest Hill
Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Memphis.

She was born July 7, 1921, in Paris to the late Marquis L. and
Lillian Cumile Spaulding Alexander. She was married for 35
years to the late Charles H. Turner.

She is survived by a daughter: Charlotte (Rick) Peck; two sons:
Steve (Diana) Turner and Dan Turner; grandchildren, Kelly
(Rachel), Sam, Ryan, Melodie and Hope Peck and Lauren Winfield;
Great-grandchildren, Hayden, Riley and Ashtyn Winfield; two
sisters: Bette Brewer and Joyce Reedy; and one brother: Marquis
Alexander Jr.

She also was preceded in death by a brother: Arthur Alexander.
