Lucille "Lucy" Burns Seal ~ Obituary

Lucille "Lucy" Marie Burns Seal, Age 69 of Nashville, TN. died on the 3rd of January, 2013. She quietly said farewell to those who will forever cherish her memory, and reunited with loved ones who awaited her presence; her parents, Oliver Wendell Burns and Lucille Emma Burns; brothers, John Burns and Jim Burns; husband, William (Bill) Seal; son, Billy Seal; and granddaughter, Caroline Seal.

She leaves behind her children, Jim (Rebecca) Seal, Angel (Glenn) Carter, and Dan (Judi) Hannifin; daughter-in-law, Karen Seal; grandchildren, David Seal, Thomas Seal, Katie Seal, Rachel Seal, Megan Carter, Kristen Carter, Jeremy Seal, Cory Hannifin, and Heather Hannifin; and two great-grandchildren, Billy Seal and Jordan Hannifin; "sisters", Dee and Joy; and her special companions, kitty-cats, Miss Peach and Miss Cherry.

After graduating E.W. Grove High School in 1961, she married and began this journey of life, and her fortitude led her, even as she again went back to school in 1978 and earned an Associate's degree from Nashville State Technical Community College, and worked for many years in the medical field.
Those who knew and loved her will always hold the legacy she left them close to their hearts.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Lucy's life will be conducted on Sunday, the 6th of January, 2013 at three o'clock in the afternoon, at Glendale United Methodist Church. The family cordially invites friends to gather with them for a time of visitation one hour prior.
