| Retired insurance agent Mildred P.
Robertson, 88, of Paris died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at her residence. A graveside service is planned at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Chapel Cemetery in northwest Henry County. The Rev. Marty Arnold, pastor of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member, will officiate. Selected as pallbearers are Milton, Randy, Bryant and David Peale. There will be no visitation. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born May 3, 1923, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Charlie C. and Odessa Wiggins Pritchett. She was married on Dec. 28, 1941, to John B. Robertson, who died Dec. 27, 1991. Robertson was a graduate of Grove High School and a former member of Garden Oaks Baptist Church in Houston. She retired as an insurance agent for Mutual of Omaha in Houston after 47 years. Surviving are members of the Peale family in the Johnson Chapel community, who are her extended family. She also was preceded in death by a brother: Edward Pritchett, at age 18. Memorials may be made to the Johnson Chapel cemetery fund. |
