| Mary Belle Morris Puckett, 84, of
Paris died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Paris Health Care Center. No service or visitation is planned. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge. Burial will be Wednesday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Born March 16, 1928, in Paris, she was a daughter of the late Dave R. and Nelle Jane Maddox. Former husband, Raymond Jones, preceded her in death. She was married to Samuel Luther Puckett, who died July 26, 1985. She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ, operated a Sears store in Texas and was a clerk. Survivors are four sons: Billy R. and Michel D. and Gary M. Jones, all of Fort Worth, Texas, and Stephen F. Jones of Arkansas; one sister: Nelle Van Cleave of Paris; a niece: Jennie (Victor) Baldwin of Paris, who was a helper, caregiver and friend. She also leaves eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. |
