| Carlton Moore, 64, of Evansville,
Ind., died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh,
Ind. The body was cremated. His wife of 29 years, Ruth Ann Moore, survives. Locally, he leaves a son: Marc Moore of Paris. A memorial service is set at 1 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Evansville, where he was a member. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Alexander North Chapel Funeral Home in Evansville is in charge. Born in Clarksville on April 16, 1948, he was the son of the late Billy and Geneva Moore. After studying to be a medical technician, he was drafted into the Army. He enjoyed camping, riding bicycles, woodworking, hiking, fishing and being outdoors. He loved reading history, singing and church drama presentations. He also leaves two daughters: Marshan (Tim) Farrier of Troy, Ohio, and Adrienne (Jeremy) Light of Rolla, Mo.; six grandchildren: Rian and Alaina Moore, Timothy and Emilie Farrier and Zachary and Grant Light; one niece: Jennifer (Scott) Schumacher; a nephew: Joe (Heidi) Moore; a sister-in-law: Judy Moore; and several cousins. He also was preceded in death by an infant sister; and a brother: Leon Moore. |
