Bobby Gene McNutt, 78, of Paris died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at his
residence. The body was cremated. A private memorial service will be scheduled later. Ridgeway Funeral Home handled arrangements. His wife, Gwyn Bellamy McNutt, survives. They were married on Aug. 21, 1955. Born Jan. 29, 1934, in Paris, he was a son of Thomas Leland McNutt Sr. and Lena Maye Barton McNutt, both deceased. McNutt was former co-owner of McNutt Tractor Co. in Paris. He was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Paris Masonic Lodge 108. A 1952 Grove High School graduate, he attended Memphis State University. A family member said he enjoyed fishing, hunting and mechanic work. In addition to his wife, he leaves one daughter: Valeria McNutt (Joel B.) Easley of Scott, Ark.; one son: Walter Thomas (Kathleen Annette) McNutt of Lake Shore, Utah; four grandchildren: Melissa McNutt (James) Winder and Bobby Gene (Linda) McNutt, both of Manhattan, N.Y., Michel Binkley and Katie Binkley, both of Memphis; two great-grandchildren: Abigail Anne and Hannah Marie Winder; Three nieces: DeeDee Nelson, Kathryn Wiggs and Debbie (Charles) Douglas; two nephews: Robby Bellamy and Randy J. McNutt; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. He also was preceded in death by twin sons: Duncan Dennis and Cameron Gene McNutt; two brothers: T. L. McNutt Jr., and Billy Joe McNutt; and a grandson: Elvis Scott Easley. |
