James Harold McFadden ~ Obituary

Longtime Midland Brake and Haldex Corp. employee James Harold McFadden, 73, of Paris died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

His wife, Ella Sue Creecy McFadden, survives. They were married on July 8, 1958.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Richard Dakin will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Named as pallbearers are Paul, Eric, Tommy and Chris Villaflor, Roger Creecy and Ernie McFadden.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Born July 11, 1937, in Paris, he was a son of the late Ernest and Mazie Jewel Grainger McFadden.

McFadden worked at Midland Brake and Haldex Corp. in Paris for 39 years, where he was a tow motor operator. He also worked for 12 years for Evans Products in Plymouth, Mich. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Paris.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons: James Steven “Steve” McFadden and William Marcus “Mark” (Suzie) McFadden, both of Paris; two sisters: Carrie (Paul) Villaflor and Carol Askew, both of Paris; two grandchildren: Hannah Michelle McFadden of Paris and Brooke McFadden of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.

He also was preceded in death by three brothers: Wayne, Charles and Wesley McFadden.
