Patricia Tharpe Kendall ~ Obituary

Paris native Patricia Tharpe Kendall, 48, Of Woodlawn died Wednesday, November 6, 1996, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, after an extended illness.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, where she was a member. The Rev. Donald Snead will officate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled from 7-8:00 p.m. Saturday at Hooker Funeral Home, 723 Franklin Street in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Born May 30, 1948, she was a daughter of William Tharpe and the late Nellie Price Tharpe. She was married to Lonnie Kendall, who was also from Paris. Mrs. Kendall was employed by the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System as a teacher at Kentwood Middle School in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Besides her husband and father she is survived y a son, Christopher Ross Kendall of Woodlawn; two stepsons, Tracy Kendall of Huntsville, Alabama and Mitchael Kendall of Noonan, Georgia; a stepdaughter, Tojuana Kendall of Nashville; a sister, Barbara Gray of Paris; one brother, Sanual Tharpe of Paris; four grandchildren and several other relatives.
