| The funeral service for former
Henry Countian Daniel Foster “Dan” Brown of Camden was held at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Plunk Funeral Home in Camden. Cremation followed the service. Visitation was Saturday and Sunday. Brown, 75, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Camden Healthcare. His wife, Joy Brown, survives. Local survivors are a sister: Norma B. Steele; a niece: Sharon (Mike) Loveall; and a nephew: John (Kathy) Steele, all of Paris. Born June 1, 1936, he was a son of the late John Foster Brown and Cornelia Routon Brown. He also leaves two sons: Daniel Foster (Carol) Brown Jr. of Nashville and Stephen Earl Brown and wife Myong Hui of Seoul, Korea; one daughter: Cynthia Ann (Thomas) Rivas of Stockbridge, Ga.; a stepson: Johnny Sparks of Camden; and four grandchildren. A brother, John Alexander Brown, also preceded him in death. |
