Larry Joe Bell ~ Obituary

Farm manager and construction contractor Larry Joe Bell, 63, of Henry died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at his residence.

Services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tennessee Valley Community Church.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Ridgeway Funeral Home and after noon Tuesday at the church.

Brian Anderson and Steve Gallimore will officiate.

Burial will follow in Henry City Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Steven Snider, Pete Desocio, Tim Miles, Danny Ham, Mike Barnett and Stan Welch.

Bell was born Oct. 25, 1951, in Cottage Grove to the late Baudry and Ruby Atkins Bell.
He was married July 30, 1993, to Tammy Forbus Bell who survives.
A family member said Bell was a founding member of New Life Baptist Church in Henry. He attended TVCC.

At the time of his death, he was employed as the farm manager for Pete Descoio’s farm in Henry County. He owned Volunteer Log Homes.

Along with his wife he is survived by four sons: Brian (Bobbi) Bell of Goodlettsville, Brandon (Jennifer) Bell of Paris, Zachary Bell and special friend Kayla Hargrove of Henry, and Steven Snider of Murray; and five grandchildren: Shelby, Chloe and Bryant Bell, Jayden Powers and Scarlett Meadows.

He was also preceded in death by a brother: Eddie Lynn Bell.
