| A celebration of life service has
been planned for Grove High School graduate and retired Allstate Insurance
agent Richard Paul Azwell, 77, of Ocala, Fla. Azwell died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, in Florida. The body was cremated. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Azwell. A social gathering and fellowship to celebrate Azwell’s life is scheduled at 11 a.m. EST Jan. 24 at Dunellon Methodist Church in Dunnellon, Fla. Azwell was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Sturgis, Miss., to the late Homer Azwell and Hilda Elizabeth Marr Azwell Herndon. He moved to Paris at age 10. Azwell also served in the U.S. Air Force. He also is survived by a daughter: Linda Azwell and husband Alan Riedel of Florida; three grandchildren: A.J., John and Rachel Azwell of California; a brother: James Edward (Joan) Azwell of Cordova; a sister: Betty (Thomas) Maldovan of Smithfield, Pa.; a half-sister: Marie Francis “French” (Casey) Howard of S. Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. He also was preceded in death by a brother: Donald Lee Azwell; and a half-brother: John Earl Azwell. Memorial donations can be sent to Dunellon Methodist Chruch, 21501 W. Highway 40, Dunellon, FL 34431, to be forwarded to missionary Bob Wood in Honduras. |
